LAMBDA is a nonprofit business organization for business owners, professionals, entrepreneurs and the community at large. Its goal is to provide an environment of success for the Lesbian, Gay, transexual Bisexual and Gay-Friendly Business Community through the exchange of ideas, information and resources. LAMBDA is a forum for the business community to develop relationships within the Las Vegas lesbian, gay transexual, and bisexual community through networking, mixers, special events, the Lambda Business & Professional Directory and Lambda Online - our official internet web site and online directory.

Networking

LAMBDA offers many opportunities to network. They are scheduled at different times and days to give members a chance to participate that fit many different schedules. The Members that experience the most success are those that consistently attend events, share ideas, information and leads.

Breakfast PowerClubs
Breakfast PowerClubs are intense networking opportunities. Members give 60 second commercials, make in-depth presentations about their businesses, and exchange leads and information. All interested are encouraged to attend. Bring business cards, enthusiasm and leads.

Dinner PowerClubs
Dinner Power Clubs are a mix of networking and socializing. Dinner PowerClubs begin with a no-host cocktail hour followed by introductions, dinner and programming. Dinners often feature speaking from the gay and lesbian or business community. All interested are encouraged to attend. Dinners are scheduled every other month. Mixers
Monthly Mixers are opportunities for Members to showcase their business. One Member each month sponsors a Mixer. Those who attend have the opportunity to get aquainted with the business, its location, and other Members in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. The Directory

LAMBDA publishes its Directory as an integral part of the Las Vegas Gay & Lesbian Community
Yellow Pages, an annual listing of business and professionals that wish to reach the Las Vegas $3billion Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Market. The Directory also features a comprehensive listing of social, support, religious, special-interest and political organizations. All Lambda members receive a free four line listing in the Directory and substantial discounts on display advertising. The annual distribution of the directory is 40,000 copies.

Special Events

LAMBDA coordinates and participates in many special events each year to help Members grow their businesses, provide networking opportunities in the community and to be an example of UNITY in the community. The Southern Nevada Pride Event is one of our favorites.

Community Service

LAMBDA actively supports the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Community, creating a feeling of unity, pride and a sense of visibility.

Regional Networking

Western Business Alliance. LAMBDA is a member of the Western Business Alliance (WBA), a consortium of gay and lesbian business chambers that serves the Gay, Lesbian and supportive business organizations of the Western United States and Canada by facilitating the exchange of ideas, resources and information.

Memberships

All LAMBDA Memberships are calendar based and are valid one year from the date you join.

Regular membership - Annual membership is $125.00

For Members who intend to network in the organization and to advertise in the annual Directory and on the Lambda Online Directory. Includes a listing (one category) in the printed and online directories. Regular Membership includes voting privileges and the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors.

Associate Membership - Annual Membership is $85.00

For Members who already work for or with a Regular Member or are not representing a business or organization. This level of membership provides the opportunity to network in the organization. For Associate Members who work for a business or organization, a listing under the Regular Member will be included in the Lambda Directory and on the web site. Associate members who do not represent a business or organization will receive a separate listing on the web site and in the Lambda Directory under Community Builders. Associate Membership includes voting privileges and the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors.

Non-Member Category - Community Organizations
Non-profit organizations, community based organizations or groups may be listed in the directory and on the Lambda web site. This complimentary and part of Lambda's community service. Community Organizations may also join as Associate Members with all the rights and Privileges thereof.
