Lambda Code of Ethics

As a member of the Las Vegas Lambda Business & Professional Association, I/we agree to recognize, Promote and improve Gay/Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) supportive businesses and the GLBT supportive business community whenever possible. To that end members agree to honor the Las Vegas Lambda Business & Professional Association Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics as follows:

1 Each member will conduct business with honesty, integrity and fairness with respect to customers, clients and employees alike.
2. Each member will be accessible and accountable to customers or clients and make every reasonable effort to act in the customers' or clients' best interest and benefit.
3. Each member will not discriminate based on race, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, disability, marital status, gender or sexual orientation.
4. Each member will be responsible at all times for truthful and non-deceptive advertising and promotion regarding his/her business and its products and services.
5. Each member will conduct business with strict adherence to the laws of the state where located and to business or professional codes existent for the particular business or profession and in accordance with generally accepted practices.

Memberships

All LAMBDA Memberships are calendar based and are valid one year from the date you join.

Corporate Membership - New or Renewing members $1500.00

For Corporations whose members intend to network in the organization and to advertise in the annual Directory and on the Lambda Online Directory. Includes up to ten individual full memberships. The Corporation will receive one prominent listing with all corporate members listed and each member will have an individual listing (one category) in the printed and online directories. Regular Lambda members receive one free three line listing in the Las Vegas Gay & Yellow Pages directory and a discount for additional lines or display advertising in the directory. Membership includes voting privileges and the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors.

Regular Membership - New or Renewing members $125.00

For Members who intend to network in the organization and to advertise in the annual Directory and on the Lambda Online Directory. Includes a listing (one category) in the printed (see below) and online directories. Lambda members receive one free three line listing in the Las Vegas Gay & Yellow Pages directory and a discount for additional lines or display advertising in the directory. Regular Membership includes voting privileges and the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors.

Associate Membership - New or Renewing $85.00

For Members who already work for or with a Regular Member or are not representing a business or organization. This level of membership provides the opportunity to network in the organization. For Associate Members who work for a business or organization, a listing under the Regular Member will be included in the Lambda Directory and on the web site. Associate members who do not represent a business or organization will receive a separate listing on the web site and in the Lambda Directory under Community Builders. Associate Membership includes voting privileges and the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors.

Community Organizations - $25.00
Non-profit organizations, community based organizations or groups may be listed in the directory and on the Lambda web site. This complimentary and part of Lambda's community service. Community Organizations may also join as Associate Members with all the rights and Privileges thereof.
